Welcome to Muti’s Academy — a space where I gather my evolving insights across investing, philosophy, technology, finance, psychology, physics, microeconomics, and entrepreneurship. What started as an idea during my university days (inspired by the likes of Munger) has grown into a truth-seeking exercise and a dynamic exploration of hard-to-vary theories, tailored towards existing and aspiring investors. Not just for the sake of becoming a better investor (that would be a vain exercise), but for the sake of exploration itself. Just like that astronaut above.
Personally, I am interested in good explanations and solving problems (instead of establishing “truths”). I think good theories and explanations are fallible and need to be put through the ringer of criticism to be improved. This seems to be a pre-requisite for the growth of better theories and better ways of looking at our world. Biologists call this process evolution. I have therefore decided to make this personal “Academy” public and open to criticism and evolution.
My Learning Aims:
- Systematic Growth: I’m committed to building a compounding repository of insights, interdisciplinary, from first principles and linked - one that grows as I learn (positive-sum), and ideally, helps guide your own journey
- AI-Powered Second Brain: I integrate a private and public version of my Academy with AI models to enhance personal decision-making
- Self-Select to Build a Network: Hopefully you reach out to me and we can connect, if you find this Academy or the approach itself interesting
This blog is organized into “Core Modules,” “Non-Core Modules,” “Support Modules,” and “Miscellaneous” sections for easy navigation. If you share a passion for investing, I hope you find some value here.
I’m writing as a lifelong student—not as an authority. If you have ideas, theories, or suggestions for improvement, please do reach out to me on my LinkedIn, my Twitter or email me: mutaher.ali@outlook.com.
